I highly recommend planning a trip to Santa Fe/Los Alamos area in New Mexico. Make sure you order a copy of the Sierra Club's Rio Grande Chapter's book, Day Hikes in the Santa Fe Area, and plan some time for hiking in the Sangre de Crisco Mountains and/or the Jemez Mountains. I contributed several photos and trail descriptions for several hikes in the Jemez Mountains, including Bandelier National Monument, Coyote Calle and Las Conchas trails near Valle Caldera National Preserve, and the trails at Ojo Caliente hot springs in the La Madera Mountains. My images are easy to find since they all have my name on them. :)
