Baja Wildlife Adventure for women
January 31-February 8, 2026
Each year, gray whales travel thousands of miles from arctic seas to the warm waters of Baja California’s lagoons to court, mate, give birth, and care for their young. Join Diana McPherson on this photography adventure to take part in one of the unique natural wonders of the world as you visit three different whale sanctuaries for arm’s-length encounters with these graceful giants. During your journey along the southern portion of the arid peninsula, you’ll also have great opportunities to photograph and observe beautiful desert vegetation, birds, and other wildlife, visit Spanish missions, and learn about the region's history.
